Le Thoronet is a typical French village with a thriving community. It has a good range of local shops, 5 restaurants and a bar. The village is located just 5 minutes drive from the main A8 Coastal Motorway. The nearest airports are Nice, Toulon and Marseilles, which in turn are served by the low cost airlines.

The beautiful beaches of the Cote D'Azure including St Tropez, St Maxime, St Raphael and Nice are within easy reach. You can relax and take a train to Monaco or any of the coastal resorts from a local station.

The Gorge Du Verdon, which is the largest in Europe, and second only to the Grand Canyon, is situated nearby providing scenery of outstanding natural beauty. The Lake de Ste Croix is situated at the foot of the Gorge. Many water related pursuits can be undertaken here including swimming, bungee jumping, pedalos etc.

There are many places for walking and cycling in the surrounding area.
