Weather in Lesbos, Greece

The climate of Lesbos is excellent. During July and August, temperatures can average well over 30˚C for the month, with daily temperature peaks in the low 40’s not unusual. Monthly temperatures average over 20˚C from early April until late October, giving Lesbos an extended summer season. If you are birding in Lesbos, the weather is good all year round, with temperatures averaging over 10˚C even in the coldest months.

The opening of Mytilini Airport has meant that flights to Lesbos arrive direct, with no need to get a ferry from one of its neighbouring islands.
