Anyone looking for a fantastic holiday destination just outside the Italian capital, Rome should try the lovely town of Prenestino. Located near the west coast of the country, this lovely place has many exciting things for holidaymakers to see and do. The town of Prenestino is just outside Rome and is a scenic place to explore with interesting sights for holidaymakers to find by hiking and cycling. Visitors to the area can also go horse riding or play tennis with some public courts available here. There are several golf courses located in the region including the 18-hole Circolo del Golf di Roma, which is just a short drive from Prenestino. The nearest beach is only 25 kilometres away on the west coast of the country, which enables holidaymakers to relax on the sand and take a swim in the sea. Various watersports are available on this stretch of coast such as wind surfing, paddle boating, fishing, snorkelling and sailing. The area in and around Prenestino offers a good choice of restaurants, bars and cafes serving fine Italian cuisine. There are many interesting places for holidaymakers to visit in and around Prenestino. In the town there is the Church of Mary Magdalene and the Palazzo Capranica. Film fans might like to take a 15 minutes drive to the film studios of Cinecitta. Rome is just 10 minutes drive away and is a magnificent city to visit. Two of the most popular tourist attractions in Rome are the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.

Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA) is only 20 minutes drive from Prenestino. Ryanair operates flights to Rome from numerous international airports including Brussels-South Charleroi (CRL), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), Eindhoven (EIN), Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN), London-Gatwick (LGW), Madrid (MAD) and Stockholm-Skavsta (NYO) amongst others. Auto Europa, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore, Thrifty and Sixt are car rental firms located at the airport. There are also taxis available outside the terminal building.
