A small cove beach sheltering between two imposing rock headlands, La Cala is a blissful little sand beach where swimming, snorkelling and sun bathing thrives. The long, sandy beaches of Mar Menor are more popular though. Water temperatures in the Mar Menor are always a few degrees warmer, and the shallow, sheltered waters are extremely safe for children and absolutely perfect for the majority of water sports, from windsurfing to diving, water skiing to parasailing. If you travel a little further, the beaches of the Calbanque Nature Park are stunning, perfect for nature lovers as wildlife thrives in the park.
