The Ile aux Cerfs is possibly the most famous place on the East Coast of Mauritius, an inlet on the huge Trou d’eau Douce lagoon. The resort is set a little way back from the coast, with regular shuttle busses running visitors back and forth to the beach. There is even a 5 star golf course at Ile aux Cerfs, and your access into the unspoilt countryside is unrivalled for those wishing to walk, bike or ride through the beautiful interior of the island.
