Queen bed with bathroom en-suite. Rollaway can be supplied if needed for a third person. Totally equipped with all linens including wine glasses and dinner-ware. Beach chairs and beach towels. Shuffleboard court and mini golf on the complex for guests' use. Steps away from a beautiful heated pool. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living room with air conditioning units in each room for climatic comfort. Convenient assigned parking space. Coin operated laundry room on the complex. Marco Island is part of the legendary Ten Thousand Islands aquatic preserve, this 14 square mile island lies tucked away in the SW corner of the State of Florida. It is a vacation paradise which offers a beautiful shelling beach, the opportunity to rent a boat and cruise the gulf waters or take a day trip to Key West from a local marina. It is 16 miles from Naples, 45 miles from Fort Myers and has easy access via the interstate from Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Everglades City (and the Everglades) is located approximately 30 miles east of the Island. Excellent golf courses within the area. Upscale shopping on the island and discount malls within a short drive. There are many fine restaurants which offer menus to satisfy and tempt all culinary preferences.

Wonderful sunsets from Marco's South beach and Tigertail. Numerous dining establishments catering to all tastes and price ranges, some just a walk away. Boat hire and fishing charters into the gulf or fly fishing the mangroves can be reserved at the local marina. Florida's renowned Everglades National Park easily enjoyed by taking a boat trip or enjoying the 'rush' of an airboat from Everglades City, just east of Marco Island.

Areas of Interest: A short drive from Marco is Florida Audobon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, the Ding Darling State Preserve in Sanibel and the renowned Everglades National Park. The Florida Conservancy's Nature Centre and Marco's Tigertail Beach display the unique environment which surrounds this island.

Other Activities: If you want to shop till you drop - bargains can be found just 2 miles off the island at the Prime Outlet Shops, or at the Miromar Outlet Shops via I-75 in Naples. Sawgrass Mills Outlet shops situated east on I-75, west of Fort Lauderdale, is the largest discounted indoor shopping mall in the area. Many fine upscale shops on the Island.
