Very private, 3 bedroom, 2 bath - wood burning fireplace in great room, private master suite (not an open loft) has king size bed free standing antique gas stove, buffet kitchenette, private deck with hot tub. Two decks - one open and one covered - fabulous views to the Smoky Mountains, BBQ grill, full service kitchen for 8 people, dishwasher, full size clothes washer/dryer in garage, 2 TVs with satellite and DVD, CD player, 4 phones, central heat and air, adequate parking, access road up the hill is asphalt and concrete - no 4 wheel drive, lots of firewood, available year round!!

Our cabin is located 2900 feet up in the mountains of western North Carolina. Graham County is 70% national forest, national park and blue mountain lakes. In July 2002, 'Outdoor' magazine touted Graham County, NC as the best of 10 in the US for outdoor family recreation based upon availability, accessibility and value. Just off NC highway 28, the view is northeast to Clingman's Dome in the heart of the Smoky Mountains National Park. Rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, hiking via Appalachian trail, rock climbing, mountain (Tsali) & road biking, sports car and motorcycle touring, gem prospecting, golf, Biltmore Estate, restaurants, are just a few of the many activities available. Then relax and enjoy the view from our spacious decks or hot tub.

Fantastic location, very affordable, quiet. Coming from Alaska, we were pleasantly surprised how pristine and remote this area was - yet accessible to grocery and restaurant.
