Villa San Paulo is a spacious, luxurious home w/ large verandahs 20 ft from the sea on the Ekali Estate, near Hopetown, Abaco. Built of beautiful Amazonian wood (gorgeous ceilings) on seven acres. Fruit orchards, tropical plants, and large new private 160 ft dock (boat slips for every property). 6 minutes from Hopetown, shops and restaurants by golf cart on tarmacadam road. Beaches nearby. Brand new property. This home offers everything for your comfort and enjoyment. Glorious swimming in front of property in clear, sparkling water. Fantastic views of Sea of Abaco. Villa San Paulo now has a beautiful new swimming pool with fabulous views down the Sea of Abaco out to the other islands.

The Main House

We rented the Main House. Mary, the owner was extremely nice, helpful, and gracious. The ad has changed since we booked. The original ad said it had internet and VHF radio. These are your 2 lifelines in the Abaco’s. According to the caretaker, neither have worked for years. This was one of the main reasons we booked this house. I needed to get work done via email and contact our other party of friends on the island by VHF so we could play. The power in the Abaco’s goes out on a regular basis and initally,the generator had to be turned on manually. Kind of hard to locate someone at 8:30 @ night to turn it on. The house was nice and spacious. The most accurate description was the new dock and surrounding waters. We enjoyed running off the end of the dock and swimming. The snorkeling was great off the dock, too. There were many sea creatures to see. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children under 15. I would rent this house again now that I have accurate expectations.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
