You will find all the comforts of home in a quiet and peaceful wooded setting, Cast your line, right from the rocks, for some of the best striper fishing on the East Coast. The queen bedroom has a full bath. The twin room has a full bath. Only minutes to Reid State Park and the quaint fishing village of Five Islands. Visit Bath and Brunswick for the Maine Maritime Museum, the Chocolate Church Gallery and Performing Arts Center, The Maine State Music Theatre, historic house tours, lighthouse cruises, fairs and festivals, fine dining and, of course lobster.

We love the view from the cottage. Watching seals, ospreys, lobster boats and an occasional porpoise - you can't be anywhere in the world but Maine.
The owners, Dave & Susie, are great too.

A wonderful cottage with a commanding view of the Kennebec...My wife and I found this place to be truly charming. A great spot to enjoy a quiet, rustic vaction. The location with respect to local beaches, crafts, and lobster is good too.

Where to begin? Everything about this cottage is perfect for an enjoyable and restful time. We've been coming for several years and love the peaceful setting, however we're still near many sites for delicious dining, fun activities, wonderful shopping and antiquing, and on and on. The location is near everything you could possibly desire during your stay.

The cottage itself is a cozy nest with all modern amenities. You'll hate to leave.

This is our 5 th vacation at the cottage and every year has been more enjoyable that the preceeding. The magnificent view, the sunsets in the evening, the boats on the river, and yes, catching stripers off the rock ledge all add up to a wonderful Maine experience. We are already looking forward to next years vacation.

Fabulous! Simplicity, comfort and quiet at its
best. Only a short drive to great restaraunts,
shops, beaches, points of interest. Best of all
- a location where you can enjoy the best
that nature has to offer in vistas, wildlife (I
saw a juvenile bald eagle less than 20 feet
from my bedroom window!), weather (the fog
was beautiful as it move in and out from the
river) and the sounds of the sea.
Neighboring homes are mostly owner
occupied and they are friendly and willing to
share their story of the history of this
beautiful place on the Kennebec.
