Intracoastal block in historic El Cid near City Place shopping and entertainment complex - 5 minutes to Palm Beach airport makes this an extremely convenient location. The property is in a quiet residential area with Worth Avenue just over the bridge. This is a fantastic family neighborhood with picturesque streets suitable for evening strolls or leisure biking. It offers a very comfortable retreat with all the amenities to make it your private getaway. An abundance of restaurants with everything from Italian to unbeatable Florida seafood is literally all around you. This is the perfect location to do everything under the sun or absolutely nothing at all!

The Historic El Cid neighborhood is in a quiet upscale location that has been featured recently in the New York Times as having some of the most rapidly increasing property values in the Palm Beaches. The architecture mix is one of Spanish, ranch, modern and Florida bungalow with a few 'McMansions' thrown in for good measure. It would not be Florida without them! Our street is on the 'Lake Block' with the easiest access to the promenade along the intracoastal. It is an easy walk to downtown West Palm Beach, the Southern Ave. bridge or the Okeechobee bridge. For perspective, Mr. Trump's Mar-a-Lago is easily seen across the intracoastal and a bit to the south.

The pictures do not do this lovely place justice. It really is beautifully decorated. It looks like a very small place from the street, but when you walk in it just opens up to a beautiful Florida bungalow. The owner, Terry, couldn't be nicer to deal with, very accommodating. We went in October of '07 and liked it so much that we went back in January of '08. It is very private and quiet. The pool is just lovely -- I spent hours in it! It was so relaxing to sit out next to the pool and just listen to the palm trees rustle. The kitchen is newly decorated and very well appointed. We had everything we needed and had two dinner parties where we grilled out -- again, really nice. I would recommend this to anyone, really, but it is good for anyone who needs to be on one floor without a lot of steps. I enjoyed it so very much more than staying at a hotel or with relatives. Geri
