Clear Creek Cabin is a charming guest cottage on our 345 acre farm of rolling meadows, tree lined trails, scenic bluffs and Saltpeter Cave. The cabin is nestled on the banks of Clear Creek, a large scenic stream that flows year round and borders our farm for two miles. In its lovely, secluded location you can step out the front door and enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, and caving. You will also be delighted with the abundance of wildlife that shares this idyllic location. Deer, wild turkey, red fox, coyotes, bobcats, mink, blue herons, rabbits, and squirrels can often be spotted from the cabin porch. Along with the large porch the cabin has a living room with wood burning fireplace, bedroom, bath, and homey kitchen.

A most beautiful and peaceful vacation home!

The description of this little cabin was so true. It was clean, well-maintained, and charming. Marilyn was truly a thoughtful but unobtrusive owner and hostess. The creek was so clear you could see the fish below. We caught plenty for dinner one nignt! The cave was certainly an experience we won't soon forget. This week of vacation was one of the most relaxing and peaceful times we have had in a long time. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone who is wanting to just get away from it all. We are both in our sixties and enjoyed the walks, coffee on the porch, the flowers all around the yard, and taking our meals outdoors.

What a warm & comfortable welcome these owners have for their cabin that sits amidst some beautiful countryside with some surprising adventures available! (Bring BIG flashlights!) Exceptionally clean, homey comfortable atmosphere inside, & peaceful outside. Town is a ways, so don't forget anything you'll need for your menus! Only drawback I could see for a large party is the tiny bathroom. My husband & I definitely plan on returning to investigate the cave further! And enjoy a peaceful, romantic getaway.
