Full modern kitchen, central island bar/counter, sliding glass doors and screens admit streams of morning light. Step off your covered patio onto the white sand beach and into the Caribbean. We also have 2 new casitas each with private bath and kitchen and queen bed plus balcony or patio. This was the 'House that could not be built' as mine was the first house completed on the bay back in 1999 (and therefore the best location- sand entrance to the bay). Wood wood wood and child proof, or as child proof as you can get with a lively toddler! We do have magic and a Harry Potter spot under the stairs for inflatable bed for extra kids. Join us! Best bang for your buck too.

Or stroll empty beaches just minutes away. It truly is magical here. Extras: Cook and babysitter available, daily, except Sunday, maid service/ and groundskeepers. New area restaurants open almost every week. Day trips to Mayan Sites Tulum, Coba, Ek Balam and Chichen Itza. Now dive in one day fabulous Cozumel with the #1 Rated Dive Operator. Just take the 9 AM ferry oner, enjoy a breathtaking two tank dive with Aldora Divers (Google them) and be back here for dinner! Also we are just a couple of miles from the world famous DOS Ojos Cenote system for diving and snorkeling underground river system. Fabulous and unique. Jungle Zip line, Kite Sailing, you name it! I assure you you will not run out of things to to but my favorite is lying on the beach chair with a trashy book.

We Specialize in large family groups or two families sharing the place. We recently hosted a family with 4 generations! Join us for the time of your life. We have hosted up to 20 persons here. Yes, they liked one another. There is no substitute for the BEST location on the Bay, a staff and owner on site and for a special House that becomes your home once you arrive. *Airfares Low Summber 2009: Yes time are tough just now and we are all looking to conserve our resources but consider this: A group of 10 can vacation here at Casa Playa Maya for 7 Nights for LESS than $50 Per Person per night! Heck you can't stay in a Motel 6 for that! Airlines have lowered their fares to Cancun this Spring and Summer and it is no more expensive to vacation here than it is to vacation in Florida, in fact it cost less as the Peso is weak against the dollar. Write to me and we can work out something. Casa Playa Maya gets lonely. My group of 14 is currently frolicking on the beach and Caribbean in 84F sunshine. Come and join us! Cheers, Bill

Your extraordinay accomodations and hospitality and Corina's housekeeping and fantastic cooking made our vacation the best ever! Your home is far more inviting and comfortable that we expected. What a treat.

Your special piece of paradise was just the ticket for all 12 of us to undwind. Many thanks for your many fine inside"tips" on places to go and things to do that the casual tourist would never discover. We can't wait to come back!

Bill, THANKS!!!! What a great house, beach, location, staff, amenities, kitchen, rooms, AC, WI FI, showers, towels, library, stereo, porch, beach chairs, kayaks, palapas, host, and on and on. It's a very cool thing to walk into a vacation home and have everything work from start to finish. Too bad you were recovering from your recruiting trip, I would have liked to have spent more time with you; yet another reason to come back;

We spent a terrific and memorable Christmas at Casa Playa Maya. The accommodation was perfect for our family reunion (all 15 of us). The beach was ideal...super sand and snorkelling. Perfect place to chill in the heat. Did a few day trips (Tulum, Coba), which we enjoyed, but could have stayed at CPM the whole time.

Bill, thanks for being so helpful and friendly, and we appreciated Oscar and Daisy's assistance.

Relaxing directly in front of our vacation home with a margerita in one hand while the kids play for hours on the beach...who could ask for more? Casa Playa Maya was the perfect home away from home for our family...our own little piece of paradise. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, the snorkeling and building our little shell gardens which Oscar was always careful of when he prepared the beach in the morning. We explored the ruins, the towns, the cenotes, the sites but our favourite memories are the days we hung out right in Soloman Bay. The little family-run eatery near the south end of the beach is definitely worth a visit as well. Thanks for the excellent tips Bill and your personable, relaxed manner. We felt right at home. Thanks also for the chats and the chuckles. We look forward to another rendezvous in the future.

Playa Maya on Soliman Bay is the best kept secret on the Mayan Riviera. Close to the action, yet off the beaten path. Tulum and all of the Mayan ruins, great restaurants, night clubs are very close. Easy drive from Cancun Airport. Bill and his very helpful staff had great recommendations on what to see and do. However, it was hard to pry myself away from the idyllic Playa Maya compound overlooking beautiful Soliman Bay. The perfect location; beautiful facilities; warm, friendly and hospitable staff. The perfect vacation. Can't wait to return.
