This well decorated modern Victorian comfortable home is on Balboa Island. It is three house from Newport Bay. The Island has beaches, shops, restaurants, fishing, boat rentals, and a boardwalk encircles the Island for pleasure walks. A small ferry is a block from the house. This short ferry ride takes you across the bay to the Pacific Ocean and the board walk and Pier.

Balboa Island is one of seven islands located in upscale Newport Harbor. From Balboa Island you can walk and ride a small 3 car/ pedestrian ferry to the ocean, and in 10 minutes be at the Pacific Ocean. Or you can relax and swim at the beach on the bay three doors from our home. A boardwalk encirlces the island for a pleasant walk. This resort area is on the ocean between San Diego and Los Angeles. We are near many attractions such as Disnyland, Knotts Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza (major shopping), Newport Center,take a ferry to Catalina Island etc..

Beach Life: You can relax on the front porch, cool on the propane BBQ, (even use our Wi-Fi) or walk four houses to the bay and play and relax on the sandy beach. If you want to visit the ocean and play in the ocean waves just take the 15 minute ride across the bay. The Ferry is a small three car ferry with room for beachgoers. One leaves every few minutes. Great place to play for children of all ages. Our house is on the quiet corner of the Island. You can walk around the Island and stop at the coffee shops , small grocery or small shops on the main street.

Regional Attractions: You can use our home as a base and visit all of the Southern California attractions. You are able to drive to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Laguna Beach Art Galleries, Lego Land, and Universal Studios. Drive along the coast and see the Pacific Ocean. You can shop till you drop at Fashion Island/ Newport Center or South Coast Plaza. Visit the well known areas in Hollywood & Los Angeles. Take the Catalin Flyer to visit Catalina.

Other Activities: Sunning on the beach at the bay or swimming in the bay by the house
