Oceanfront 2 story home on Orchid Island with water on both sides. VERY UNIQUE Oceanfront Home, with frontage on BOTH the Ocean, AND the Intracoastal/Lagoon!! Rooftop sundeck, additional deck beach side on dune, 250 ft dock on the Indian River Lagoon and World famous fishing at Sebastian Inlet. Backyard is a private beach, dock and lagoon across from front of house, Private pool and lots of balcony/covered patio areas. Only 1 1/4 hour from Orlando or Palm Beach airports, along with Disney and other attractions. Return to the Florida of old, without the crowds or traffic. Watch dolphins, pelicans and sea turtles daily, fish the lagoon or the beach for red fish, sea trout, snook Tarpon and more. This is a beautiful area, where Gloria Estefan has her home right down the Beach, and Mel Gibson, Rosie O'Donnell, Prince Charles and many others (who value privacy and pristine environment), have chosen to visit. Treasure Abounds: Treasure Museum only a couple hundred yards away, and Treasure salvers dive the waters behind home still pulling in treasure from the Spanish 1730 Fleet that sank, Dolphin, Turtles (#1 spot in the World for Leather-back Turtle nesting), Manatees, Fishing, Pelicans abound with other nature, nearby is the Nations oldest National Park Reserve (Pelican Island), and the World famous Sebastian Inlet for surfing and fishing is a straight walk up the Beach.

New Home Condition: Property completed major Renewal Renovation, with Hurricane Impact windows and doors, New Tile and Granite throughout, New Kitchen, Aluminum Metal roofing, Pool surfacing etc... You cannot get a better Beach Vacation than this!

Paradise on the Beach in Vero Beach!

We stayed here for a week in June 2009. We loved the location, as it was only an hour's drive for us. The location is spectacular- oceanfront on one side, intracoastal on the other. The house is well maintained and has everything you would need, even pool toys, citronella lanterns and bikes. The bedrooms are located on the intracoastal side and have an interconnecting balcony overlooking the intracoastal. The kitchen is efficient with a JennAir grill and burners, combo coffee/espresso machine and toaster oven. Wifi access and flatscreen TV with DVD player and movie library were appreciated. There are several outdoor spaces to enjoy - porches, downstairs area by the pool, and the rooftop deck for great sunset views. We were lucky to be able to see a space satellite launch! The location is remote enough to have your own space but shopping and restaurants are only a 10 minute drive over the causeway. We saw several sea turtles laying eggs on the beach at night and swam in the ocean near 2 manatees! It was a pleasure dealing with the owners, who provided easy access to the property and info on local attractions. We had a great week and look forward to spending another week here next Summer!

A Great Spring Break!

We just stayed at the house last week for spring break and we had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and is stocked with everything that you might need. The location is a little away from the beaten path but that worked for us - with the pool and the beach just steps away we didn't feel the need to leave very often. The house was immaculate and very well maintained. The roof deck has incredible views - especially the sunsets and the beach deck was my favorite spot to catch the rays. We highly recommend this rental!

Great House!! Just as advertised, directly on the Beach, we had great walks, sighted a number of Turtles and Dolphins, usually only saw a couple of people in the entire day on the Beach, it was a real get away. We could sit inside or out and see the water from any point.
