Amazing Property

Gorgeous, well-maintained, clean home. Plenty of space, beds were good, and i was very happy that linens and towels were included. That is a very rare amenity. The property is safe...far enough off the road (very FEW vehicles passing by) and from the lake so that children have room to play without worries. The lake is great for beginner and advanced swimmers. You can either walk in or dive off the dock. We made much use of the outdoor firepit, which is basically lakeside. Stores were just a few of miles away, and a convenience store and doughnuts at a gas station was only about a 6 minute drive. The bait and tackle store was just up the road, and it also has cheap firewood.

We would like to thank the Nowhitney family for sharing their lovely home. It was a pleasure to be in such a pretty place. You care about your property, and it shows. It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope all your future renters appreciate and respect your property.

Family Gathering

When my family arrived at this lakefront home we immediately all looked at each other and smiled. This clean,well-maintained home welcomes you and will definitely invite you back. We enjoyed all the amenities, and had the best of family times taking the few steps to the lake, fishing and boating and watching our 18 month old granson throw rocks in the lake with such joy. A wonderful meal at Lanzi's Lakefront Restaurant was enjoyed by all, but most nights had fun grilling and cooking in the well equipped kitchen.

Loved our stay

We stayed for the week after Christmas in 2008. The house was a perfect fit for the five adults and two small children in our party. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils we needed to cook and eat our meals. The refrigerator was a good size and the dishwasher made the after meal clean up easy. The temperature outside at one point was just above zero but the house stayed toasty warm. We were pleased that the water for showers wasn't affected by the very cold weather. The wall of windows let us watch the snow while we enjoyed each other's company. This was a great house for our stay in the snowy north.

Great Lake Front Getaway

Our family got together for a week and had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful in a nice wooded setting, yet the lake was just feet away with a dock. Swimming was great right by the dock. A couple little things came up and the owner took care of them immediately.

I did miss having internet, but otherwise great.

Serenity

Fun With Family NJ

My family and i had a great week in this very beautiful home. The weather did not cooperate but we made the most w/ everything that is available to you from this rental home. As you open the front door and look straight thru the front picture windows thru the woods and down to the lake, it is very peaceful. We had many horseshoe battles and pinp pong tournaments as the heavens opened up on us and zapped the power out twice, we did get out on the lake and it was breath taking. We've been to Lake George for 30 years and we now have picked a new lake and hopefully same rental for the next 30!! :)
