The lake house is on two lakefront acres with 225' of shoreline on pristine Lake Glenville near Cashiers, NC. It is the ideal get-away for a large family or group of friends to share. Exquisitely furnished, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 2 massive stone fireplaces, fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and custom cherry cabinets. TVs, DVD, CD players, wireless Internet access, washer/dryer. Expansive lakeside porches overlook the gently rolling lawn and azure Lake Glenville. Private boat dock, canoe, kayaks and sail boat are available for our guests to enjoy. Boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, sailing, tubing and exploring Lake Glenville's 26 miles of shoreline are just steps from the house. World-class golf, hiking, horseback riding, antiquing, waterfall and wild-life viewing, white-water rafting are some of the areas many activities and attractions.

The house is lovely, stunning in fact, though modest when compared with neighboring homes. Lake is clean and comfortable for kayaking and light sailing. Area is charming. Don't miss BBQ and bluegrass in Cashiers.

Downsides: remote location takes curves and hills and eats up time going and coming. On lake, motor boats can be distracting, fishing nonexistent. Lakefront pretty well developed. Not your fish camp vacation but pleasant and comfortable.
