Our beautiful mountain home is equipped with most amenities for your convenience. The loft has 1 queen, 1 double and the downstairs bedroom has a single top bunk and a double futon bottom. It has a full deck overlooking a small valley with a stream, home to lots of birds and wildlife. Hike right out the back door or visit Rickets Glen State Park 1/2 hour away. Pocono ski slopes and attractions are 40 minutes away. Hunt in nearby state gamelands or fish on the Susquehanna River. Or just relax and enjoy nature in your own private setting.

This cabin was great. After warming up the inside the weekend was fantastic with all the modern conviences we needed. The place is very dog friendly and the small twon close by offers unique places to shop and eat at.

TOTAL relaxation and privacy!

My husband and I have just returned from our week at Tomlinson's cabin and now look forward to going back! If you like solitude, quiet and enjoy nature then this is THE place. We went to sleep every night to the sound of the creek below. Staying here is like living in a glass enclosed tree house! While my husband took a few hikes up and down the creek, and to the train tunnel, I never left, not even once, the entire week. We parked our car and didn't even move it for the week. Thank you Tomlinson's for sharing this gem in the woods!

I've been there few times already and I never want to leave. This place feels like my own ( I wish...) Very quiet ( but close to the city), it's shady in hot days and warm & inviting when it's cold outside. I love the gas fireplace & new grill on the porch.
Minimal but you get all that you need.
Nice & relaxing- definitely recommend!

The Cabin in the Woods

I cannot describe the beauty of this cabin in words. It has to be experienced. The place is lovely, well kept, very warm and inviting. The view from the deck is breathtaking. It was a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. She loved it as much as I did. We will be going back. Go into town and have dinner at Twig's Cafe.

P.S. If you do not have 4 wheel drive, park at the top of the driveway.

Went to this house second time around, would definately come back! Peaceful and quiet, perfect for that getaway from the busy city. Would highly recommend!
