This cozy, comfortable, waterfront cottage is located 7 miles south of Damarisotta. Situated along a scenic little country road it is on a 35 acre freshwater pond and has a view of the saltwater across the road. Rural, not secluded, the house is surrounded by 3 acres of lawn, shrubs and trees. Ideally suited for the vacationer who wants to relax, take quiet walks, enjoy nature, explore the pond, and go canoeing, swimming fishing or biking. Close to nature preserve with hiking trails and saltwater access. A nice sandy beach, golf course, children's attractions, lobster wharves and restaurants just a short drive away. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (shower/tub), a dining room (table seats 4-6 people), living room (satellite TV), and kitchen (fully equipped, electric stove) all located on the ground floor. A private back deck with table and chairs looks out toward the pond.

This cozy, well furnished little cottage is everything is is advertised to be. We found the cottage clean, well equipped with the essentials plus much more. Chairs have lights beside them for reading or doing handwork.........a biggie for those who enjoy those pastimes . For those of us who live in an area where there is no cable service, the Dish TV was a delightful perk. The cottage is located on a road that provides easy walking with little traffic. The cottage's location provides a very central starting point for day trips to Boothbay, Portland, Freeport, Rockland, Camden, Bar Harbor or the inland areas. It is an easy hop to the grocery, eating and the water. We are three time renters and have our reservations for next year already. We would heartily recommend this cottage to our friends and have.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
