Photos and Description of this Lake Bomoseen holiday cottage Four bedroom cottage accommodating eight people (but prefer 6-7)

Enjoy beautiful sunsets from dock or old world screened porch overlooking Lake Bomoseen. 4 bedroom lakefront cottage on eastern shore. Property has beautiful upper and lower decks with great lake views. Wonderful dock with space to accommodate boat. Bedrooms are newly painted in 2008. A great and quaint vacation cottage!

Minutes away from beach, golf, restaurants. Nearby Rutland and Lake George offer excellent shopping, dining, movies, etc. House is located off of private tree lined roadway that sees little traffic.

Our cottage on Lake Bomoseen is the perfect escape. It is located off the beaten path, down a hill and right on the lake. The screen porch has rustic charm - like On Golden Pond - and your family will create fond memories spending time here at the lake. An upper deck and barbecue provide a beautiful outdoor area to cook and dine. The lower dock/deck has ample space to lounge and sunbathe. Kayaks are available upon request upon your arrival. Experience the charm of Vermont with a short drive into the mountains or enjoy a day of outlet shopping not too far away in Lake George, New York.

Weekly rental rates 1500$; weekends 800$ by special arrangement paid in advance (nonrefundable) If you want more time this needs to be by special arrangement

We had a fantastic stay! Cottage was clean and had an awesome view. Had 6 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Really enjoyed the camp fires, swimming, and dock.

We hope to get back soon.

Idyllic lake cottage experience

We loved our quintessential cottage getaway. The lake views were stunning, particularly at sunset, and the two decks were perfect for entertaining both day and night. The cottage was quaint and cozy, with more than ample sleeping space and a light airy feel to the common areas. The screened porch was great for coffee and muffins in the morning and cocktails at night. With all the pleasures of both the sparkling lake and the majestic Green Mountains, this rental really fit the summer "rest and rejuvenation" bill. Lake Bomoseen and the surrounding area are brilliant. We definitely will return.

A really BAD introduction to VT

Mistakes and miscommunication by owner meant a REALLY bad first night at this rental for which the owner was unapologetic, and offered no compensation.
Communication difficulties between the 2 owners (or owner and manager?) made communication between us and them difficult.
"comfy seating for 6" in living room should read "one couch in living room".
"sleeps a maximum of 8" is listed, but in the contract, they allow for no more than 7.
I did not note any new landscaping, but the upper deck and lower dock are very nice.
