Buffalo Bill's

The Best part of this rental is the service element brought by Bill. We have been renting houses President's weekend in Vt. for well over 10 years. Bill's service level was exceptional from the administrative handling of the property (without too many rules), following up on any special dtails/interests, directions were clear, provided discount passes to the mountain & was very prompt with the return of out deposit.
The house was very clean & well maintained. It is literally only a minute or two from the Lincoln Peak parking lot. We had 12 staying in the house & had plenty of room. The Hot-tub was a big hit after long hard days on the slope. The entry room down below was great for keeping all the ski equipment out of the way & a place for the boys to place foose ball & watch tv. The tv down there provides a second area to seperate the children.
The bedrooms were neat and clean with plenty of space. The loft area allows for 4 sleepers & we found it a great area for the boys when they were not outside playing or downstairs. The girls kept to the back bedrooms. The house had plenty of room & the 3 bathrooms are a big plus from experience. We have found from experience that it is not the number of bedrooms but the living space that is important for a big group.
The kitchen was adequate but that is not my area of interest. We missed not having a wood burning fireplace (we love to make wood burning fires in a nice fireplace & sitting around the fire). The house has a gas burning hot stove I guess you call it which worked real well & kept that corner of the dining area warm but we tended to congregate in the living room w/ the main tv w/ dvd player.
The cost of the house for President's weekend was on the high end relative to the properties we have rented in previous years. But the weather cooperated & we had a terrific weekend of family bonding & skiing. I don't think it is fair to give credit for the weather to the house - but it certainly enhanced the weekend experience. I guess you get what you pay for.
