Less than four hours from Boston, the Lakeside Cottage is a 4 Bedroom 2 Bath lakefront chalet, sleeping 8, on beautiful Lake Memphremagog abutting the Northeast Kingdom and the Eastern Townships. Canadian cottage has over 100 feet of lake frontage on 26 mile long Lake Memphremagog with a huge dock (shared with our other home), deck and picnic table. This fantastic home features two living rooms with fieldstone fireplaces and picture windows with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains - some say the best on the lake. The lower level family room includes a blue carpeted full bar complete with sink and second refrigerator for those relaxing evenings after skiing at the nearby mountains or boating on the lake. With four bedrooms each with double beds, this is a great place for two to four couples or a larger family to get away from it all.

Visit Newport or the adorable French-English village of Magog only 20 minutes away and shop in the many boutiques or dine at one of the dozens of French bistros that line Main Street. Pick out a bottle of wine from one of the three local wineries, including the breathtaking Abby Saint Benoit Du Lac which features tasty cheese and apple treats made by the resident monks. Enjoy the fall foliage or hike one of the many mountains nearby. If you want to have an evening or weekend of fantastic nightlife, beautiful Montreal is only one and a half hours away! Summer: Spend summer days relaxing on the beach, fishing, swimming, waterskiing, tubing, jet skiing, or canoeing out to one of the many islands on this 26 mile long lake. You can take out the row boat for a picnic on the creek or rent a power boat a half mile down the road at the marina.

Two bathrooms Living rooms on each floor with field stone fireplaces and picture windows overlooking the lake. Small deck with lawn furniture. Parking for 4 cars Eat-in kitchen with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and pots, pans and place settings for 8. TV and VCR Wet bar, sink and fridge in the downstairs family room with sliders leading to the lawn and beach. 200 feet of beach frontage, dock and boat slip.
