We are located on the Mid-Cape, at exit 7 (Willow St.) off Route 6. We are in the middle of all the activities such as Beautiful Beaches, Fine Restaurants, and Public Golf Courses. We are less than a 3/4 mile walk to Seagull Beach (Ocean), Shopping Center and Restaurants. There are 4 public golf course in the town of Yarmouth. We live in a 12 acre wooded and quiet child-safe neighborhood with a playground, tennis court, and a dock for kayaks & row boats. Para sail and Jet Ski rentals are also close by.

Restaurants in Yarmouth: The Town of Yarmouth has some of the best restaurants around from Captain Parker's with the best seafood and chowder to Clancy's Restaurant with seafood and steaks, to the Yarmouth House for seafood, steaks and chicken.

Beaches in Yarmouth: The Town of Yarmouth has many Beautiful Beaches. Seagull Beach is one of the biggest beaches and is only 3/4 of a mile away. It has a Beach house for changing, restrooms, snack bar and outside showers. Grey's Beach at Bass Hole in Yarmouthport has a boardwalk to walk out on and to view the sunset. Smugglers Beach is great for swimming and watching the Boats as they come from the Marina and through the Channel.

Fishing in Yarmouth: Smugglers Beach has a fishing pier for the best striper fishing in Yarmouth. Seagull Beach has a jedi to fish off. Both locations are only a few minutes away.

The owner met us on arrival, showed us around the property, and offered his knowledge of the area for suggestions on restaurants and things to see and do.

The property was clean and comfortable. It was plenty big enough for my wife and I. It is in a relatively quiet area, but not far from the main road. There is a variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment within a few miles.

We enjoyed our stay at Kokomo cottage very much.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

A Perfect Week

My wife and I spent a splendid week on Cape Cod in mid-September, and Kokomo Cottage was a great base of operations. It was clean, comfortable, cozy--perfect for two people--and with an additional bunk room for kids. We biked or kayaked daily, then cooked delicious fresh seafood dinners in the cozy kitchen and watched the Red Sox on the cottage's new flat-screen TV. Since we were there after Labor Day, we encountered no crowds anywhere, and Kokomo's West Yarmouth location made driving to any other part of the Cape quick and easy. Memorable day trips: kayaking in Waquoit Bay, biking from Harwich to Chatham, bird-watching on North Monomoy Island with a guide from the Welfeet Audobon Society, and lunching at the Lobster Pot in Provincetown. The cottage suited our every need. Our only complaint was that a wonderful week ended too soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

This was our first experience renting a cottage for our vacation in the Cape. KoKomo cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It's location is perfect and the "community" is very friendly and quiet. We could not have chosen a better atmosphere for my husband and I to escape to for a comfortable, clean & pleasant surrounding with all the comforts of home.

We are looking forward to returning next season.

We've stayed at Kokomo Cottage 3 years in a row and we love it. Paul says it's an absolute Gem! We love the wooden swing and outside shower, plus the inside is clean, cozy and quaint. Beautiful sunset views from the cottage and we enjoyed the area. We are looking forward to another relaxing week this summer.
