Relax on the screened porch, deck, or in the jacuzzi. Tell stories with friends and family around the evening council fire while throwing your daily catch on the outdoor grill. Gather inside for a great video or TV movie, check your e-mail, then add a log to your wood stove and retire to the balcony to watch the Milky Way stars dance above you on a moonless night before slipping into your cozy bed to the sounds of acorns dropping on the tin roof.

And there's nothing to beat the relaxation that comes with a log cabin in the woods - no traffic sounds, rarely any fly-overs, and few neighbor sounds other than the occasional dog bark. And there's plenty to do! Coker Creek is site of an old Gold Rush, the Trail of Tears, and Coker Creek Village, a Christian retreat center. Pan for Gold, take short trips to discover dozens of waterfalls, hiking and biking trails, and the spectacular mountain views on Bucks Bald and the Cherohala Skyway. Our cabin is within easy driving distance is Tellico Plains, the Lost Sea, Sequoyah Museum, Ocoee Whitewater rafting, and horseback riding. Great day trips include the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Joyce Kilmer Forest, and the casinos at Cherokee, NC
