Beautiful oceanfront house on Fire Island in Robbins Rest, a small community of 30 houses. All rooms face the ocean - with sliding glass doors opening onto deck from almost every room, ocean is yards away HOUSE IS ON THE BEACH. No cars - ten minute walk to ferry -decks around entire house. Totally modern, cathedral ceilings, sits on the sand of the beach. Great for kid watching! Three bedrooms; Bedroom #1 - king-sized bed; 2 ocean views, Bedroom #2 - 2 single beds (can be separated or combined) - ocean view ; Bedroom #3 sleeps one. Living room/kitchen - white walls with light wood trim - ocean views -- Plus: Lovely new, large screened-in room, leading out from kitchen area for dining or just hanging out. 90 minutes from New York City plus half hour ferry ride.

The house is right on the sand and the ocean is yards away. Town of Ocean Beach a few minutes walk with great shops, wonderful restaurants, movie theatre, and ice cream parlors.You can grab a water taxi to any of the 16 communities on the island, rent a sailboat jetskis or go fishing. Or you can just hangout on my deck and look at the ocean, mosey on to an uncrowded beach and jump into the ocean!

I have owned this house for twenty years. I rent it out only 5-6 weeks over the Summer. It's a really fantastic place, RIGHT ON THE OCEAN. I have tenants who come back year after year. This is an owner-occupied home -- it is not a group house. It's kept up beautifully. I have loved every moment I have spent on Fire Island in Robbins Rest. The neighbors are wonderful and respect each other's privacy. References upon request.
