Immaculate, three bedroom cape in Matunuck, RI. On quiet street, relaxed walk to town beach where there is a pavilion, sandy beach, waves, playground, grassy area, picnic tables, restrooms, showers and an abundance of wild beach roses. Old-fashioned, wrap-around porches, good sense of privacy. Beautifully landscaped gardens, abuts bird sanctuary. Lots of windows, wonderful moonrises and sunrises. Gracious second floor master bedroom suite with slider to southern sundeck and pretty views. Bird watchers delight! Delightful enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Access to miles of RI shoreline, excellent restaurants, Connecticut casinos, fishing, boating, biking, antiquing and wildlife refuge nature trails. Take the ferry to Block Island, drive to Newport's mansions and Cliff Walk or enjoy Providence's Waterfire.

My husband and I enjoyed 2 weeks of heaven in this lovely home. Walk to the beach or relax on the spacious decks that surround the house. Waking up every morning to the sunrise and sitting on the deck at dusk admiring the beautiful gardens in the yard. Very clean and well stocked rental. Owners were friendly and accommodating but non-intrustive. The lovely vases of fresh cut flowers in each room upon arrival was a nice surprise. Would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

This rental was the perfect beach home that everyone imagines. The quiet but friendly neighborhood, beautiful yard, wildlife, and porches made it a very peaceful and relaxing spot. The house is very well kept and the upstair's bedroom is amazing...a very romantic, beautiful loft. This is definitely a perfect spot if you want to unwind and enjoy a quaint beach community. Great place!

Great family vacation

I picked this house because the pictures viewed online made it seem charming and inviting. It was all of those things and more. My husband, two teenage daughters, and myself were very happy when we arrived. The gardens surrounding the house were beautiful. The owner brought that beauty inside by displaying many vases of fresh cut flowers throughout the different rooms in the house. Everything in the house was neat and clean. They provided us with ample toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, ect. , and even brought us a new grill when they realized that the old one was not working properly. They also made sure we had plenty of propane as well. During the week they stopped by to empty the gargbage/recycling bins and to see if we were doing ok with all our needs. They were never intrusive, just helpful.

The beach was only about a 5 minute stroll away, and we enjoyed the walk every day! At he end of the road was a cute breakfast cafe and a great neighborhood market where we were able to get a daily newpaper, coffee, & deli items,. We even found that the cuts of meat there were cheaper than going to a regular grocery store. There was a little ice cream shop also a few minutes away that the girls enjoyed nightly. If you didn't want to walk, the local "Skippy" truck came by with bells a ringing.

The weather was sunny but a little chilly at times, and the upper deck off the bedroom was a great place to catch the rays and warmth.

We fully enjoyed our stay and would go back again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous!

My family and I spent a week at the beach cottage and it was truly wonderful. The cottage is in a lovely setting with beautiful gardens. It is well furnished and homely and we wanted for nothing. There were lovely finishing touches that the owner, Liz had provided, like the fresh flowers from the garden. I would definitely recommend this cottage whether you are looking for a romantic time away or a family holiday. Fantastic - Thankyou!!

A Little (Peace) of Heaven

What a delightful stay my two friends and I had this past weekend. The weather was wonderful. This house is perfect for a restful day of sun bathing. Everything you need, short walk to town and beach, but so private you almost feel alone, except for the wonderful birds. It's like a bird watchers paradise. We saw many varieties we don't have at home. The hummingbirds were so numerous we lost count. The gardens and mature plantings are amazing. We met the owners they were very kind. Spotless is how I would describe the entire house and yard. Fresh flowers in every room. Liz sure knows how to treat her guests. Thank you so much and when can we book for next year? All Our Best,
