Spruce Shore Cottage sits on a secluded bluff overlooking Goose Cove, on the western side of Mt. Desert Island, minutes from Acadia National Park. The cottage includes everything you need to be comfortable. West Tremont is 6 miles from Southwest Harbor, a town with excellent shopping and several fine restaurants in every price range. Edna's Variety, a fine convenience store, is within walking distance of the cottage.

Spruce Shore Cottage is within minutes of some of the loveliest and most private areas of Acadia National Park. Hiking, climbing, swimming and picnic areas on 'the Quiet Side' are easy to access. Fine shops, galleries, museums and excellent libraries are conveniently located and both Bar Harbor and Ellsworth are about a half-hour away.
