My family and I stayed at the caribean view house from 8/30/08 - 9/5/08. This was a wonderful experience and since my family lives in Ponce, Puerto Rico and we are from NYC and usually stay at the Holiday In in Ponce but since we were four this was a better choice and it was even a better experience because the house was large, the view outstanding and all the family had a wonderful time. The view once you are there is breath taking. The pictures do not this property justice and the cleaniness of the house was impecible. I will come back as soon as possible
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children

Perfect Rest & Relaxtion Getaway

I needed to escape my hectic life in East Orlando FL so I found this home advertised on the mountain hillside of Puerto Rico. Great Seabreezes!! The view from the home was spectacular and very little drive by traffic since this home is tucked away in the mountain. TRANQUILITY!!! This was the perfect escape for our family; especially our two toddlers. They were able to run around freely, play in the hammocks, and play with the lizards. The house was clean & very comfortable like home. We had everything we needed compared to an over priced cramped hotel room in the city with no washer & dryers in the rooms. Great seafood resturants & beaches just 10 -20 mins away, Would reccommend to anyone who wants to escape the rustle and bustle of everyday life. We'll be back - Thank You :-)
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Bad Experience

I rented this home for 3 nights. It apparently is vacant for long periods of time. We arrived the night of July 11th, and after the caretaker left, we began to try & settle in. We found a dead mouse in 1 of the main bedrooms, and as we went to pull down the bed covers on the beds, we found mouse excrement on all of them. We spent the rest of the night using our sheets on top of mattresses, and we kept the lights on. At the crack of dawn, I contacted the caretaker & owner to advise we would not be staying for the remaining 2 nights. We spent less than 12 hours at this rental. I am trying to get a refund of the 2 nights we did not stay, and these owners are refusing.Will gladly post the results of my battle with them. Also, this house is extremely high up in the mountains and very difficult to find, if you do not have somebody to take you there. By the way, these owners knew we had a 10 mos. baby in our group, and they are very much aware of the rodent problem.
