Grand Isle La - one mile past the G.I. Bridge on the left side of Highway 1 at Memory Lane. Perfect location - walk across Highway 1 to the beach (Gulf of Mexico) or by boat (from private 50 foot dock at rear of camp) through Caminada Bay - 5 minutes to Gulf. Convenient for accessing your boat (no overnight storage fees), you can also crab from the boat dock. Enjoy the beach for sunbathing, crabbing, surf-fishing, etc. Our street is blacktopped, our camp is paved underneath - no sand to track inside. We have a warm water outdoor shower for quick rinsing. Picnic table and chairs for outdoor eating. View Bay and Gulf from front and rear decks. Winter fishing is great! Bull Reds in the surf!

Location: Grand Isle in USA

Grand Isle is famous for it's great fishing, shrimping, crabbing, birdwatching, etc. To relax -walk the beach in the morning or early evening, watching the huge shrimp boats offshore (you can buy fresh shrimp off the docks or catch your own). Charter boats are available for hire. Grand Isle=incredible fishing. In the bays, surf or on 'the Rocks' - speckled and white trout, rat reds, flounder etc. Offshore-red snapper, grouper, Ling, King Mackerel, amberjack, tarpon, etc. Grand Isle has several fishing rodeos. The 'Old Bridge' is fun fishing and lighted at night. You can set crab traps in the bay, crab lines in the Gulf. Gig flounder at night with a lantern. Visit our beautiful State Park. An old fort is across the west end. G.I. (7 miles long) has a large grocery, churches and several Marinas. Come to Grand Isle - you'll love it. Bring the kiddies. Water ski and Scuba Dive.

Departure Checklist: 1. Place TV remotes on top of the TV. 2. Remove all food from refrigerator and cabinets. 3. Return tables and chairs where you found them. 4. Fish cleaning areas and BBQ pit needs to be cleaned. 5. Be sure to turn gas/propane tank off. 6. Turn off lights, air conditioning, heater and hot water heater. 7. Remove all garbage to outside garbage cans. 8. Lock and return key where you found it.

Check-in Time is 4pm and Check-Out is 11am.

The place was clean and lots of space to sleep. The front & back porch is lovely and gives you a beautiful view of the bay & beach. My son caught a big red fish

We had wonderful time at this camp. The beach was right across the street and we fished and crabbed off of the deck in the back. The front porch is lovely and gives you a beautiful view of the bay.

The Water front rental was just as discribed.The place was clean and very much sleeping space. My kids loved the fact that they could wake up and go down stairs to the bottom deck and fish and crab... They were in heaven we like the fact that the beach was only across the street we walked it took us about 1 1/2 mins not long at all.We did not have a boat but if we did you could of pulled it right up to the back deck very convieant.We went for Easter this year 2008 and hopefully we will be back in the summer.We'll I hope this helps someone. Good Luck
