Casa Teresa is an extremely spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa, standing on 5000sq meters of private grounds, in an exceptionally beautiful and secluded position. The panoramic views from the pool and terrace over the mountains and valleys are breathtaking. The villa sleeps 10 people comfortably and has 3 ensuite bathrooms. The villa boasts a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge with satellite TV. Outside, there is a private pool (8mx4m), which is fully tiled. The patio area surrounding the pool is extremely spacious and provides breathtaking views over the mountains. There is a large pergola covered with grape vine on the main patio area, providing ample shade, there are 2 patio tables here, the main barbeque is also situated here, although there is another barbeque outside the sun lounge. At the front of the villa there is a terrace area with patio table and chairs with fantastic views of the mountains and down to the Med Sea. Outside is fully illuminated at night.

Competa is a large Spanish town in Andalusia, the most southern province of Spain. This area is famous for its wine, honey and olives. It is situated 640metres above sea level on the edge of the beautiful Almijara national park, just 30mins inland from the Costa del Sol; it is easily reached from Malaga airport. (approx 50 minutes). The journey from the airport to the villa is straight forward on the motorway and well signposted. The area is popular for its wonderful country walks and horse riding however 20mins away are the busy coastal resorts of Nerja, Torrox Costa, Torre Del Mar. There is also a magnificent golf course (Barvaria) only 20 minutes away. Great shopping and the aqua park can be found at Velez Malaga, giving you the best of both worlds. The villa is situated just a short walk (15 minutes) to the village of Competa, ideal for evenings out and only a couple of minutes away by car. There are two large car parks in the village.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Reservations should be made in the first instance by telephone to check availability. The booking form should be completed and returned as soon as possible together with a non-refundable deposit of 50%. Bookings cannot be confirmed until this deposit is received. An invoice for final payment will then be sent to you.

    Full payment is to be made 6 weeks before departure along with a refundable damage deposit of £250. After your return and subject to inspection and key return, the damage deposit of £250 will be refunded.

    Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. In order to enable cleaning of the Villa between lets, it is important to receive details of flight arrival and departure times. Access to the Villa on the day of arrival is variable, but is normally after 1500hrs and would normally be vacated by 1000hrs on the day of departure. Every assistance will be offered if departure or arrival times are outside the above hours, but this is depending on the next occupation.
  • Reduced prices for parties of less than 6. This does not apply in high season.

Everthing was as it said it was , parents loved it and the kids loved it , great family holiday, The views are stunning, and the village is just down the road , everthing is so laid back ,the locals are friendly and the food is great . We have booked up for next year and that is the first time we as a family have been back to the same place in 17 years

A peaceful and relaxing getaway

This will be my second visit to casa Teresa with my family of 4 children. The place is perfect for relaxing and the kids just adore the pool. The short stroll to the village is a nice walk (not too far for the kids!) but means that its great for relaxing by the pool away from it all.
The best bit is the beautiful veiws of the Spanish mountains from the outside dining area by the BBQ. Janet and Kevin were very helpful and friendly, withing being intrusive.
