This lovely 'get-away' boasts panoramic views of Pillsbury Sound, the Caribbean Sea, and gorgeous sunsets over our neighboring island, St. Thomas. Located a short ten minute drive above St. John's main village of Cruz Bay, the Cottage provides easy access to the island's abundant shopping, wonderful dining establishments, and of course, nightlife and entertainment. The main living and dining area is located within a screened-in, covered deck area. The room features comfortable furnishings for lounging, a dining area for two, and a complete entertainment system with Dish network. The kitchen area is fully equipped including an icemaker, BBQ and all of the essentials. The king bedroom features air-conditioning for our guests' comfort. A walk-in closet with laundry center is provided for your convenience.

Take a short 15 minute hike to Chocolate Hole or Rendezvous Bay beaches for an uncrowded swim or snorkel. Take the beach chairs and cooler and explore the National Park. Hike some of St John's many trails, several nearby. Go upstairs and sun or take a dip in the shared pool. Take a 5 minute drive to Cruz Bay for excellent restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Boating, fishing, sailing, day excursions to nearby islands are all available moments away at the Westin Resort or Cruz Bay.

Love this little cottage!!!

I have stayed in all units of this house, and love the neighborhood and the landlords!!! You can cook to your hearts content or go downtown for a nice meal, and the view from the pool is wonderful. All amenities are included, and I think it is a bargain for St. John market.

Nice rendezvous for two

If you're looking for a 5 star Westin with hot and cold running maids and room service this is not for you. If you are looking for nice accomodations with a gracious host this fits the bill. Any negatives are far outweighed by the pluses. Built into a hillside this unit can be a bit on the dark side and the bedroom is not much bigger than the bed. The kitchen is plenty large enough and fully equipped. A wide double door and two windows open fully into a large, private, roofed and screened deck that serves as outdoor dining and comfortable sitting area. The deck has a great view and usually had a nice breeze. A set of stairs outside your door brings you up to a great built-in pool with over sized deck, plenty of seating, shaded areas and again the great view. The pool is shared with another unit and the host, but is large enough to accomodate everyone. The whole time we were there no one else used the pool area. We are laid back travelers as for as we were concerned this was excellent, especially considering the price. We rated it good since there as always room for improvement. If you have great difficulty with stairs this is not for you. We would definitely go back.
