Lamoine is located 20 miles by road to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, or 2 miles across the bay by boat, kayaks available for rent from house, state park nearby and public beach, boat launch. Relaxation and all the comforts without leaving the property. Gorgeous views of Frenchmans Bay, watch 'The Cat' and cruise ships coming into Bar Harbor, views of the Porcupine Islands and Hancock Point, sit in the glassed in or screened in porch,or new this year remodeled 'Boathouse' sitting area right on the water and newly remodeled guest house, in ground pool, and beach area, walk along the shore when the tide goes out. Privacy, 1/4 mile down a dirt road. Main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining and living room, guest house has just been remodeled with 2 bedrooms, new kitchen /dining area and living room.

This was a breath taking place, very private and peaceful. We all had a wonderful time here. Lobster bake on own private beach, nice pool area although it was a bit cold to use it while we were there, plenty of cozy living space in the houses. I would recommend this place.
