A newly built 2 bedroom, 2 bath cedar log cabin with vaulted ceiling and spacious loft, gas log fireplace, whirlpool bath, and much more. Relax on the covered porch and listen to the creek below, while you soak up the solitude on this 22 acre tract of wooded forest, or take a hike on the trails and investigate the mountains and streams in your own private little park. An interesting mix of rustic and modern, you will be sure to enjoy the log cabin feel, while enjoying all the modern conveniences. You will be pleasantly surprised at the abundance of activities throughout the year. Located just minutes away, you will find Blowing Rock, which offers some of the finest dining, unique shops, and beautiful parks with tennis courts, playground, and riding stables. Located outside of Blowing Rock on your way to Boone, is the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and longtime favorites, Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill

Everything from skiing to white water rafting is within close proximity to A Cabin in the Woods.

Lovely Cabin

We stayed at the cabin over the first weekend in October and really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is very secluded and very nice with all the amenties of home.

The owners are very nice and very accomodating. We would highly recommend staying here as we plan to come back again!

We stayed in a Cabin in the Woods over Martin Luther King weekend and had the BEST time. The cabin is secluded back in the woods, but still close to everything. Being from busy Myrtle Beach, we especially appreciated this. The cabin is beautiful and spacious and equipped with everything you would ever need. My kids LOVED the rec room downstairs with the game tables and the large loft area that they had all to themselves. It was wonderful to stand on the porch and hear the nearby stream while watching the snowflakes fall or just relax inside by the warm and cozy fireplace. Even though it was bitterly cold that weekend, my kids still got out and hiked up the stream. We had an amazing time and made lots of mountain memories. Our thanks to the owners for being so helpful and letting us stay in their wonderful home. We will, for sure, be back to stay here again!
