Historic antique home located one mile from Barnstable village with magnificent views of a pond and the great salt marshes. A 1/4 mile walk on a lovely country lane leads to the beach and pristine Barnstable harbor. This restored and beautifully furnished antique house offers a large modern kitchen, a living room with working fireplace, formal dining room, new bathrooms, outside shower, and all the modern amenities, TV with full cable and wireless Internet. A charming attic play room with ping pong table and extra beds for those rainy days. There is an extensive library for your reading pleasure along with many board games.The expansive patio has a huge picnic table, 2 grills, and plenty of outdoor seating with a yard big enough and flat enough for croquet, volley ball, baseball, football, etc. A path leads to a pond with a private dock and a canoe and row boat for your use. This is a big house perfect for reunions. The sunset view overlooking the salt marsh is spectacular.

Beach Pass: A beach pass is provided which allows access to all of the 14 beaches in the Town of Barnstable.

Bedroom Configuration: 2 Bedrooms are on the first floor. They share a full bathroom with tub and shower with a grab bar. One has a king size bed and one has a queen size bed. The king room has a flat screen TV with cable.The other 5 bedrooms are on the second floor. 2 of the bedrooms upstairs have queen beds and the other three bedrooms have double beds. One of the queen rooms has a TV with cable.There are also three additional twin beds in the playroom attic. These rooms share two bathrooms.

Not Your Typical Rental: This is a big home with great warmth . Eclectically furnished. Equipped with games,lots of books, ping pong,even a costume trunk. We have spare bikes for your use, boogey boards, croquet, packed with all the things that make a house a home.The yard is expansive with fields and a pond with a dock for fishing and a boat and canoe.
