Quiet cottage located in small island community. Enjoy 9 acres of tranquility on the rugged Maine Coast. Cottage shares common dock with boat house and large deck overlooking Gott's Cove. Perfect get away for families. Large lawn, pond complete with row boat, and tidal ocean frontage. Cottage is newly constructed of lumber harvested on or near the island. Private master bedroom with open loft for children. Loft has 3 twin beds. Due to inclined ladder, we recommend children under 5 years do not sleep in loft area. We offer a full size kitchen complete with all kitchen tools, dishes, pots and pans etc. Bath has a shower but no bath tub.

Location: Georgetown in USA

We are walking distance to Five Island's Town Dock where lobster and seafood can be bought and eaten on the premises. This is a working dock where fishing boats unload daily and an occasional tuna fish in brought in for auction. Mackerel fishing is popular off the town dock as well as off our own dock at high tide. Reid State Park is only minutes away with over two miles of sandy beaches. This beach is the primary attraction of the island although there are literally beaches everywhere. Fishing charters can be arranged at the cottages with the Son Rae 11 which is owned and operated by Captain Matt Reed. Fresh water swimming is just minutes away at Charles' Pond. This is not Boothbay! Quiet, coastal, and peaceful. A great place to just hang out and relax.
