Midtown Manhattan holiday apartment

From Paris, I past two weeks in Julian’s apartment. The location is really great to visit NYC, just beside the Empire State Building; you have a lot of shops, the subway and many pubs and restaurants.

The view of the apartment is really great (31 floors), you have all if you want to cook, wash your clothes or watch TV (large TV not like the picture).

On the building, there is a roof where you could go, a fitness room and a pleasant Concierge, the hall is really nice.

Well, Julian is very friendly, he will answer your questions and I recommend his apartment.

Si vous voulez visitez NYC, je vous conseil l’appartement de Julian, il est très bien situé au centre du centre de Midtown, vous pouvez ainsi parcourir la ville en taxi ou métro facilement. Même si ce n’est pas le quartier le plus calme de NYC, la vue compense cela et vous aurez vraiment l’impression de vivre comme un vrai New Yorkais.

Vous avez tout dans l’appartement : vaisselles, linge pour le lit et la sdb, machine à laver le linge et la vaisselle, tv écran plat grand écran (pas comme sur la photo),…je vous conseil l’appartement qui vous reviendra bien moins chère qu’un hôtel et qui est vraiment plus agréable pour un séjour dans cette belle ville.

Julian est très sympathique, je ne parle pas très bien anglais mais ce n’est pas un problème, il répondra à toutes vos questions avec grande rapidité.

There is a 24 hour, very helpful concierge in the lobby of this 34 story apartment building with a roof top patio and no stairs to climb. You can almost touch the west side of the Empire State Building. It is one block from two major subway lines and two blocks from Penn Station. Deli's and stores with basic food supplies for breakfast or lunch are within 100 yards. Great location and experiences in our six day stay. While it is best for one or two people, we brought our ten-year-old granddaughter and there were extra linens for the comfortable couch in the living room. Enjoy.

Great apartment for first-time visitors to New York. Everything was as promised by Julian (who was also able to accommodate a last minute change of arrival date). This was a big relief having come from overseas. The apartment was very pleasant to be in - sunny with great views to the SE from the 31st floor and well appointed. Also in an excellent position for sightseeing - next door to the Empire State Building, 1 block from the subway and Macy's and walking distance to Times Sq. We would strongly recommend this apartment to others and would use it again on another trip to New York. Phil & Annemarie
