This is a gem. Fixed up inside and out. And one of the best locations in the village...steps from the beach. What's better than being direct waterfront, than having spectacular, unobstructed ocean views from your living room! This adorable Nantucket-style cottage is situated on a hill overlooking the ocean and beach. Located in the renowned New Seabury resort, one of New England's premiere properties, this free-standing cottage is just steps from its own private salt water, sandy beach. Hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, and plenty of sunlight and windows make your stay a real treat. Large grassy area next to house allows for play time and extra space to sprawl. And did we mention the view? **This house has had brand new windows and wood blinds installed May 2006. New roof November 2007. New bathroom 2004. Recent interior and exterior painting, new bed and bath linens, and some new furniture provided as well.

The resort has numerous bike paths and jogging trails. Easy access to day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Three miles from Mashpee Commons with fashionable shops, movie theatre, supermarkets, etc. A short walk to Popponessett Marketplace with numerous small boutique style shops, restaurants, general store and small concert stage with musical entertainment. Bask in sun on private Maushop Beach or visit the Mashpee Town Beach or State Beach nearby.

The most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Nice, homey cottage with an unbelievable location. A three minute walk had us on an uncrowded beach. The location is quiet and relaxing when you wanted it, but within a five minute walk to The Marketplace, you could be in the middle of activity or a quiet dinner at The Pomponesette Inn. The place has the best of everything!

The cottage is pretty, well cared-for, and well-equipped. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is only a minute or two walk away. I'm surprised more people don't know about Maushop. You can't beat the location - minutes away from Hyannis or Falmouth. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely cottage so close to the beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage by the sea. Steps from the ocean and a downtown area with restaurants and shops and mini golf was a huge treat. Everything was clean and beautiful. We stayed here in July 2008 and it was the most wonderful family vacation. The location to the beach made it easy with our youngsters. We could easily travel back and forth between the beach and cottage. The owners were wonderful and responsive and the cottage was everything as described. We will surely be back for another week (or 2!)

It has been such a pleasure to stay at this wonderful cottage for two years in a row. The cottage is charming and perfect for our young family. The views of the ocean are spectacular and the patio and outdoor area are great for relaxing after a day at the beach. The surrounding neighbors are wonderful and the easy access to the beach makes the trip a breeze. Plus, the nightly walks for ice cream and candy in the little village are a treat for all!
