Walk a few hundred yards to Brennecke's Beach and the Poipu Beach Park in this small island style neighborhood. Discount rental car and activities also available to guests. Air Conditioned with accommodations to fit all of your requirements. Other size and views available. Enjoy our warm Aloha hospitality for a great vacation, family fun, Eco Adventure, romance and honeymoon, peaceful retreat or simply beach vegging at it's best. We are a great resource for information on group events, weddings and civil unions on the beach. Our staff is available each day to help with activity plans, directions to hikes, other beaches and discounts on boat tours and Luau shows. Beach towels, chairs, coolers and other supplies are in our office for guests to borrow. Please check us for space available, calendar is not maintained due to varying factors.

Our neighborhood offers swimming, snorkeling and surfing for all levels of experience, as well as great Keiki (children's) beaches and play areas. Kauai is an adventure Island, ideal for the outdoor and nature enthusiast. Begin your day with a nice walk or run along the ocean or on many interesting quiet routes from our driveway. Yoga is offered most mornings on the beach for beginners or experienced alike. Hikes abound throughout the island, beginning right here in Poipu on the Historic Koloa walking tour or at the ancient Hawaiian Maha'ulepu beach. Hikes outside of Poipu are best known in the Waimea Canyon, Koke'e State Park and on the famous Na Pali Trail. Hikes are charted throughout our island to hidden beaches, waterfalls and interior areas with a wide range of distance and experience levels offered. Our guests enjoy discounts on many of the paid activities.

Exellent, affordable private condo in Kauai

Poipu Plantation was a perfect place to stay on Kauai. We had a private condo with full kitchen where we cooked meals. Also available was a bbq grill. We had plenty of space, the bathroom was huge and bright, and everything was very clean.
It was walking distance to the ocean where we could sit on rocks watching the sea turles swim at sunset. The managers at the front desk were very helpful in suggesting hikes, giving us books to borrow off the shelves, and we could use the coolers, towels, chairs, mats, and sunscreen available for free.
We'd definately stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Kauai!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
