This newly-finished modern home is located on a small bluff on the southern-facing shore of Billings (First) Pond in Blue Hill, Maine on 8 acres of pristine woodlands. This is the only home on the northern side of the pond, still it is only 5 minutes from town, and an hour or less from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. This property is located down an isolated 1.3 mile road through pastures and blueberry fields. The home is built 165 feet from the shore and is shaded by an oak grove in summer. The interior features three floors. The first floor is covered in Italian tile and has three bedrooms (one is a converted office space) two full baths, one with a tiled shower and small tub, the other with a tiled shower stall. The second floor living/dining/den area is covered in maple. The dining room seats 10. There is a home theatre with HD, widescreen TV, satellite, and DVD in the den. The third floor has two master bedrooms and another tiled full bath.

The pond is famous for its native brook trout and hiking trails are accessible directly from the property. There is a canoe and kayak rental agency at the beginning of the road to home and one canoe is included in the rental. The 'reversing falls' in South Blue Hill is minutes away. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are both less than an hour away.
