This cozy two-bedroom condo is nestled on Lake Algonquin in the town of Wells and surrounded by mountains. Fish, dock your boat or swim in the backyard. Additionally there is a guarded swim beach within 20 yards throughout the summer. Knotty pine interior, large kitchen, cozy fireplace, front porch, and spacious bedrooms make this an ideal getaway for the family. Master bedroom and bathroom are newly renovated. The serenity of the area provides an opportunity for families to share intimate moments, playing games around the kitchen table at night or simply sitting in the backyard watching the stars in the mountain sky. Early risers may get a view of the lake otters, loons, deer, and even a bear now and then.

The summer season provides swimming, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, hiking, carnivals, craft shows, golf, tennis, and biking. Day trips to the Adirondacks Museum (ranked one of the top 10 museums in the country), Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame, Soccer Hall of Fame, horse racing in Saratoga, rafting/canoe trips, and outlet shopping in Lake George. The fall foliage is something that can't be missed and the perfect opportunity for some amazing pictures. With winter comes downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Oak Mountain Ski Resort is just a 10 minute drive and the perfect place for learning to ski. No crowds! If you're a competitive skier, Gore Mountain is only a 35 minute drive, and Lake Placid will really test your skills (two hour drive). Cross country skiing is available on the local hiking trails or at nearby Lapland.

Our family had a blast in the Adirondack mountains. The condo was centraly located to all the attractions that we had wanted to visit. The area was beautiful and the fact that we couldn't get a strong cellular signal only intensified our loving the area!! We would highly recommend this area to anyone who wanted to get lost in the beauty of the mounatains and the lakes. we are definetly hooked ont he Adirondacks.

This is a relaxing getaway that I look forward to every year! The condo has lots of space for my family. The kids love the beach which is so close. Small town, no crowds, hiking....something so we are all happy.
