There are several restaurants and shops located within walking distance, or you can spend your days or nights at many of the local attractions. Clearwater Beach is approximately 10 minutes north, and John's Pass Village in Madeira Beach is approximately 10 minutes south. Both have numerous water activities, beach shops, and many unique restaurants and nightclubs. Orlando is approximately 90 minutes from the cottage, Tampa is a 30-minute drive which includes hot spot Ybor City, and the newly renovated Downtown St. Petersburg is only 20 minutes away. There are serveral professional SPROTS teams -Tampa Bay Bucaneers Football, American League Tampa Bay Rays Baseball team and Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team. There is a beach trolley that runs from Sand Key (Clearwater) to Pass-A-Grille every 20-30 minutes.
