Peaceful and charming cottage, two-thirds mile from the beach at Rehoboth. Set on a double lot with high pine trees, you can lounge on the screened porch, grill in the shaded yard, and dine in the separate dining room, or walk to nearby, downtown Rehoboth. On a quiet street, the main house has three bedrooms, a bath and a half, and an outside shower. The main house has a screened porch overlooking a shaded front yard. There is a separate guest cottage that also may be used as a TV lounge. The guest house has a full bath, a wet bar with fridge, and a daybed and trundle. There is ample parking for at least three cars and nearby shopping for seafood to grill, greens to toss and wine to toast. New 2005-2009: DSL broad-band web access; high definition TV, queen bed; kitchen update, side-by-side fridge, wine cooler, high-end washer-dryer, mirror, cabinet, rugs; guest cottage redecoration, bath mirror, air conditioning; Adirondack chairs under trees and Weber grill.

Music, nightlife, dining, shopping, swimming, and boating are close by. In colonial Lewes up Route One a few miles, there are antique shops to be explored, deep-sea fishing, and whale watching. In addition to the famous beaches of Rehoboth and Dewey, the area sports a large concentration of discount outlets for the shopper in your family. For the kids, there is a water park and a quaint, old-fashioned boardwalk complete with a Whack-a-Mole, rides, pinball and the latest electronic games. For the adult, there are rock and roll and blues bars, and some wonderful restaurants of every kind and price range (some of the best pizza and the finest seafood anywhere). Rehoboth has its own brew pub and the area has the only working vineyard in Delaware. Best of all, there are a number of bookstores and the peace, space and time to read on your own quiet screened porch.

The house was better than we expected. It is a lot larger than it looks from the outside. We used every room including the cottage where the big TV was. The kitchen was really well equipped and the washer and dryer easy to use.We had bikes so rode to the beach every day and downtown in the evenings. Some of us even made it up for a few sunrises.It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation and we are seriously considering trying to come back again next year.

This cottage is close to the beach and very convientent to shopping and getting last minute items. Has everything that you need for a vacation away from home! Very safe and has off street parking! A fenced in backyard with a outdoor shower! Lots of books for those rainy days, but best of all quite when you want it and plenty of excitement within walking distance and bike riding. Would deffinently go back!
