Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I spent a couple nights here over the labor day weekend. We loved that it was dog friendly so our pooches got to enjoy the vacation too. The Villa bedrooms were pretty, spacious, and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful to admire from the Villa's windows, and to roam around on. This rental had close proximity to the Susquehanna National Park and to the restaurants and shops of Havre de Grace. And it also had the added bonus of some great wines! We enjoyed our experience in the Mount Felix tasting room, and are looking forward to a return trip when we can enjoy the new tasting patio that was being finished while we are there.

Incredible time at Mount Felix

My husband and I along with our 3 children just got back from a week long stay at Mount Felix Guest House. First off the owners of this establishment, Peter and Mary, were awesome. They went out of there way to make everything perfect. ( Waiting for us after a long trip was a plate of blueberry muffins.) The house was exactly what we were looking for, comfortable, spacious and in a country setting that was breathtaking. I looked forward to each day waking up and looking out the window and seeing the vineyard, the trees and the farmlife as well a several deer. My children enjoyed playing in the expansive grounds and the playground and visiting with the cows in the farm next door. I just can't say enough about how well we were treated and how unexpectedly pleased we were with the Guest House. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing get away from it all vacation in a home away from home setting.
