Experience the uniqueness of the Lower Keys while staying in a spacious, three-bedroom private home on Big Pine Key, home to the famous and rare Key Deer--tiny white-tail deer that roam the unspoiled tropical wilderness. Far from being overcrowded, the pace of life on Big Pine is casual and relaxed. Enjoy fabulous fishing, boating, diving, snorkeling, or just relaxing. Only a short boat ride to ocean and back country access for excellent fishing, spectacular bird watching, and peaceful sea kayaking. Very nearby are boat and Jet ski rentals, restaurants, Sombrero Beach, and Bahia Honda State Park, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S. Only 30 minutes to Key West and just a short distance to Looe Key reef, one of the best diving areas in North America. This fabulous home is located on a clear deep water canal that is great for swimming. The property has a 75 foot seawall with up-to-date bumpers, a fish cleaning station, and an outside fresh water shower.

Anything associated with the ocean is within easy reach. Strike Zone Charters is within walking distance of the house. One of the few groceries in the lower keys is within one mile. Easy access to both ocean and back country fishing. A perfect day is tying up to the reef at Looe Key and diving or snorkeling and then having a picnic lunch on the water. A host of other attractions await you. Picnic, canoe, or hit the white sand beach at Bahia Honda State Park. Visit the Blue Hole, the largest fresh water body in the Keys, and observe a variety of flora and fauna including alligators, turtles, birds, and Key Deer. A bike path is available on Big Pine for biking, walking, jogging, and Rollerblading. Many fine restaurants are located nearby with fresh seafood and island cuisine. Key West is only 30 miles away and its hard to visit the Keys without watching the sun set at least one evening at world famous Mallory Square.

Our 1,760 square foot home has central air and a tiled southern exposure screened porch, a large and open dining and living area, a modern kitchen with top-of-the line stainless appliances and beautiful natural maple cabinets. The master suite, decorated in brand new wicker furniture, includes a king-size bed, a custom two-person tiled shower, and a his and her vanity. There are ceiling fans throughout the home and a fenced yard which is perfect for wandering children and security. This has to be one of the most perfect locations in the lower keys.
