Sunny contemporary. Quiet, Private. Cheerful. Near all Berkshire cultural events and 4 minutes to town. Sky lights, views, walking trails, lots of windows, huge deck, all amenities. Open plan, casual, loft bedrooms, sleeps 6. The house and the location are ideal for vacationers summer and winter. It's pretty inside and out. There is a small separate apartment attached to the house with its own private entry, which is rented on a full time basis. No shared area with main house. Pets possible - please ask

Location: Great Barrington in USA

The Berkshires is famous for its cultural events and beauty. Tanglewood , Berkshire Theatre Festival, Butternut Ski area and its festivals (1 minute away), Jacobs Pillow, hiking, Appalachian Trail (2 minutes away),Triplex Cinema in town, great restaurants. Good sushi places, Mexican food, and everything in-between. The Berkshires is sophisticated and at the same time casual and laid back. The gorgeous Umpachene Falls are 8 minutes away. Great shopping in town, good bookstore, swimming in the Green River... canoeing the lakes... biking, skiing, fishing. Great yoga and fitness places. Kripalu is nearby. The famous Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, 6 minutes away.

Very nice and cozy house. Was enough space for 7 people. Beautiful deck with great views. House is comfortable with everything you need. Owner was very helpful.
Would definitely recommend it to my friends and will come back next summer.

Pure Relaxation and Comfort......

I must confess that this place is truly a diamond in the rough. If you're into art, serenity, great locations, and all the amenities you need for a magnificent getaway, then you're looking at the right place. Everything was accommodated as stated and then-some. -Talk about getting more bang for your buck.

If you aren't necessarily familiar with Great Barrington, don't worry, it's quite simple to navigate and there's something for all walks of life. Live entertainment, outdoor activities, fabulous food, and great people - all of which is just minutes down the road from where the property is located - while remaining private at the same time.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a getaway with no complaints! That's what I expected and that is what I received ten fold.

Would I go back to this property? Let me put it this way....
Why fix it if it ain't broken.
I was actually considering writing a negative review so I could have the place to myself, but that just wouldn't be humane!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

beautifully decorated ski lodge style home

VERY clean, in excellent condition, airy, but smaller than anticipated. upstairs master bedroom with double bed three walls, fourth overlooks open balcony to living room. second bedroom with two twins is small, third bedroom downstairs open, not very private next to her office with double bed. steep staircase to upstairs would be difficult for seniors and not recommended for small children. No lock on main sliding glass entrance. but seems to be a secure area. Main living room/open kitchen area very very nice and comfortable. Some steep open steps to main door. Nice open kitchen and eating area, wonderful yard. Bathroom is upstairs.
