Escape from the tourist and street noise in this spacious new Hawaiian style home, situated on Manini point at Kealakekua Bay. This beautiful house is in the perfect location for your vacation. This is an incredible place to stay, relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean, watch the sunsets and feel the cool ocean breeze. From the east bedroom, you will wake up to the sun rising over the mountain outside your window. * 4-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home, completed in 2004! Sleeps 2 - 10. * Just a two minute walk to the beach. * Awesome views in every direction. * This beautiful Hawaiian style home is right next to both the ocean and the bay. * 2 of the 3 bedrooms have a queen bed and full bathroom (w/bathtub). * The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed with trundle. It also has a full bathroom. * The loft has two twin beds (and an awesome view). * Fully equipped kitchen (including blender, juicer, coffee Maker, coffee grinder, baking pans, etc.).

This beautiful house is in the perfect location for your vacation. This is an incredible place to stay, relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean, watch the sunsets and feel the cool ocean breeze. From the east bedroom, you will wake up to the sun rising over the mountain outside your window.

Afternoons are relaxing on the covered lanai...: ... in a comfortable overstuffed chair, listening to the sounds of the ocean 200 feet away. When sitting on the west lanai you can look down into a small cove that is adjacent to the house as well as watch the tropical sunsets that are incredibly beautiful.

Terrific Hawaii Beach House

My husband and I stayed at the home with our two 3 year old boys and two sisters-in-law. We all had a fabulous time here! The wrap around deck is great for kids to run around and play, as is the lush, lovely yard. We could always hear the ocean and even see whales breach sometimes from our huge lanai. The outdoor living and dining area of the lanai was a marvelous spot to spend time reading, chatting, eating or watching a dramatic nighttime thunderstorm. The house is well designed to accomodate numerous people (could be a bit challenging to put kids to bed in the twin bed, open air loft, but it worked). The downstairs bedroom is very large; the other two are not too big, but work well and open to the deck. We walked often to Manini Beach, basically a green park next to a lava strewn beach with great view (loved the wandering donkey). Our favorite spot was Keei Beach, down a nearby bumpy road, where we played in the sand and snorkeled with sea turtles and colorful fish. We rented kayaks from the friendly rental guys just two houses away, and snorkeled in the bay and kayaked with dolphins. We plan to return here. We were so happy to be in a real, substantive part of the island and one so lush and green and flowered -- much better than the resorts!
