Relax on the wraparound porch, feel the ocean breezes and enjoy the incredible views of the turquoise water while staying at Le Cap. Located all by itself on a hilltop with water on three sides, you have unobstructed views of the water, where you can watch the turtles and rays swimming. A short walk down the hill brings you to a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the water, go shelling or just relax. In the evenings, relax while watching the spectacular sunsets. Le Cap is located just south of the Glass Window Bridge. As you stand on the bridge, you can see Le Cap - the only house on the peninsula which juts out into the beautiful water. Gregory Town is a short 10 minute drive to the south. Le Cap will meet your every need. The large kitchen is well equipped. The living area is comfortable, and with the views of the water from all windows, relaxing. Two of the bedrooms are located off the living area.

Location: Gregory Town in Bahamas

A beautiful beach is located just down the hill. During low tide, walk out to the small offshore island and explore! Or snorkel around the reefs that surround the island. Gregory Town offers quaint shops where you can find Bahamian crafts. You will also find grocery stores and restaurants - everything you will need for your stay. Throughout Eleuthera, you will find spectacular beaches where you can relax and enjoy the water and sun. Visit the many villages where the residents will be more than happy to talk to you about their island. For the really adventurous, there is a quarter mile cave waiting to be explored. All of this is within an hour of Fort Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach. The owner has declared the peninsula a sanctuary for wild life, birds and reptiles and does not allow fishing on or near the peninsula.

Recently (3/08) spent 6 nights at Le Cap and were extremely pleased with our stay. Its views of Exuma Sound, the Glass Window Bridge and Gaulden Cay beach are among the best you will find on the western side of North Eleuthera. The house was well maintained and clean. The caretaker (Ken) takes a personal interest in making sure you get settled in and was very helpful, as was the agent who arranged the rental. We had 4 teenagers with us and they all enjoyed the house, the adjacent (and other nearby) beach(es), and all the rest that Gregory Town and surrounding areas have to offer.
