Relax on your next vacation in our beach home. Our cottage is a short 5-6 minute walk to the ocean. The free neighborhood pool for our family and guests is at the halfway point on your walk to the Atlantic. Our cottage is fully equipped and has beach chairs, a wrap-around porch, and screened porch with a ceiling fan for your comfort. There is plenty of parking underneath the cottage for 3 cars. One of the bedrooms can function as a second master suite since there are louvered doors that can be used for privacy to walk from the bedroom to the second bath. We have a private outside shower for your returns from the beach. Our cottage is on one of the closest cul-de-sacs, in our neighborhood, to the Atlantic and is in an area that is peaceful and serene. You can hear the roar of the waves most of the time from the porch. The neighborhood pool also has a wading pool for the kiddies. There are no steps to climb on your way to the beach so that bikes/wagons/chairs make the trip easily!

Kiawah's beach is one of the finest in the country. It is several miles long with absolutely no commercial development except the newly built 'Sanctuary' which is comparable to Sea Island's Cloister. Miles of bike and hiking trails are on the island with abundant wildlife readily available to be seen in its natural habitat. There are numerous tennis courts, and five golf courses available on the island. Kiawah's Ocean Course has hosted the Ryder Cup. There are several tennis events held during the year also. If you prefer activities for the children, the resort hosts children's activities during the summer months. Bohicket Marina has several charter boats for deep sea fishing as well as Intercoastal waterway fishing. Several restaurants are available for you to enjoy the low country cuisine that is so delicious. Charleston, SC is only 19-20 miles away and boasts of many events throughout the year.

The
listing very accurately described what we experienced on our vacation.
There was one question as to the availability of internet access at the
condo. We misinterpreted and the owners were very gracious and
immediately agreed to set up internet access. Even though we weren't
there to enjoy the internet, next time it will be available and we will
go back.

We have really enjoyed the week spent in your cottage at Kiawah. We're a french family living in South Carolina and we are very impress by the reality of your description : everything was as describes or better. The cottage is ideally located and we have appreciate your choice for decoration and the full equipement.

Great place. Relaxing and only a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. One of the nicest cottages on the island. Will recommend this one to friends and family.
