Manchester, just 13 miles from our home, has outlet shopping galore and many fine restaurants. Very close to Weston where you can enjoy the Weston Playhouse, the Weston Antiques Show (October), and The Vermont Country Store.

Great winter weekend!

I recently stayed at Eric and Nancy's winter vacation home in Londonderry for a long weekend and boy was it relaxing. I just wished my timing was a little better. Vermont got 12" of snow 2 days after I left and are expecting more this coming weekend. The fireplace was one of the best parts about being up in the Vermont woods. We grabbed groceries from Clarkes down the road and cooked up a great dinner after skiing at Bromley that afternoon. The next night after a day at Stratton Mountain we went down the street to The Mill Tavern for dinner and was highly impressed by the food and atmosphere. It was just a perfect weekend all around. Next time we are definitely staying longer!!! Thanks for everything Eric and Nancy, the place was fantastic.

My sister, mom and I spent the weekend this past fall in Londonderry enjoying the folliage, shopping and antiquing. We had a great time. This house is conveniently located between Manchester and Weston. We enjoyed the outlet shopping in Manchester as well as the Hildene Crafts Fair and antique shows in Weston. We had a wonderful dinner at the Three O'Clock Inn, just down the road from this quiet getaway. Our other two nights we spent at the house where we prepared dinner and enjoyed some wine in front of the fireplace. The view of the woods from the back deck is beautiful. The house is very clean and convenient. We certainly felt very much at home. I am looking forward to next fall so that we can enjoy another Girl's Getaway at this lovely home.
