Come enjoy our magnificent waterfront home on 1.5 acres with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and almost 4000 square feet of living space. Our home is a perfect rental for large families or corporate getaways. The house sleeps 16. It includes cedar bathrooms, ceramic tile, balconies, large decks, six-person hot tub on the main deck, kitchenette, pool table and large rec room on the lower level and a master bedroom suite with a four-person jacuzzi tub, sauna and cedar throughout. The main level has a stone fireplace (floor to ceiling), a cathedral ceiling in the dining room and a screened porch. Make our 'Home Away from Home: in the Poconos your next vacation home!

Our house is located in a gated community that has three lakes, two pools, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds and two rec centers with game rooms, snack bars, a pool table and a small ski slope. Within twenty minutes, you can find a variety of fun things to do for all ages depending on the season. Skiing, tubing and ice skating at several ski areas, including Camelback, and holiday shopping at the Crossings Outlet make great winter fun. Camelback turns into a water park in the summer. Whitewater rafting, kayaking and boating can all be done nearby. The autumn brings the beautiful changing of the leaves, along with hay rides, horseback riding, pumpkin and apple picking and the annual balloon festival. For the spring, there is fishing and hiking and over 20 golf courses to choose from.

Wonderful vacation home.

Stayed here for a get-away weekend in the fall. Big, beautiful home with lots of great amenities… satellite TV, fire place, pool table that also converts into a ping pong table, sauna, beautiful master bedroom with private deck. There is also a huge deck on the back of the house with hot tub and gas grill with additional access through two of the bedrooms. There was also an enclosed porch off to the side of the deck. Plenty of sleeping space and ceiling fans in almost every room.

Also has a large, private driveway.

Owners were professional and accommodating.

Highly recommended.

Special family get-a-way in the woods

The accommodations certainly fit our needs. This was both our second marriage. We had family drive in from different states. With the six-bedroom house, extra sleeping with couches & three bathrooms gave us plenty of space. We wanted a simple but cozy atmosphere & we got it. Everyone was very comfortable & felt like they were at home. We were concerned about no air condition since it was going to be in the 90’s. There were ceiling fans in every room. We bought a couple of floor fans to assist in the mid-afternoon. With the trees surrounding the house, the ceiling fans & the other floor fans our worries were decreased. In the peak heat of the day, the basement-pool table area/kitchenette and two bedrooms provided retreat from the high heat. We all enjoyed the outdoors & the canoe rides in the lake right in the back yard. We had a beautiful wedding right off the back deck looking over the wood area, lake in the background & the birds were singing during the ceremony. The coziness of the home helped in making our special day. We enjoyed the 3-day weekend stay. It was very affordable, convenience for a large number of people. We were pleased enough to rent again.

We enjoyed our vacation in the Poconos. The house was comfortable with beautiful views and lots of room for a big family. The canoe rides were peaceful and relaxing.

pocono cabin

Pros: This was a wonderful place for us to get together as a family for our parents 30th anniversary. Plenty of room, kitchen stocked with more than we even thought would be there. Garbage disposal and compactor in kitchen. Even a little kitchenette downstairs too! View was awesome. Nice quiet area. Lots of deer to see. Even saw a turtle and a deer swimming across the lake. House was clean, up to date, plenty of space for 16-18 people. Tv/vcr/dvd in almost every room. Internet access. Pool table, ping pong table, washer/dryer included. Ceiling fans in every room kept it plenty cool in June. Nice Hot tub for 6-8 people. Owner kept in contact with us and answered all questions quickly by email (sorry we had so many questions..but it was definitely worth it). Plenty of pillows and extra blankets available in each room. Ramp up to screened in porch that a wheelchair could be pushed up. Had a highchair, kids bed rail, kids gate.
Cons: Refridgerator is old and did not really keep things that cold and it took all day to freeze the ice cubes, but we managed. There was no skimmer to clean out the hot tub and there is a $100 deducted from security if you don't leave it clean.(i didn't get a chance to speak with owner yet if we will get that part of our security back). We used my kid's bug box to try to skim it for several hours the best we could. Other than that, it was a great time and we would definitely recommend this rental to our friends.

Nice, relaxing weekend.

The house is magnificent. There was room for everyone. The kids all hung out downstairs in the lower level with the pool table, t.v.'s and kitchenette, while the adults stayed on the main level and enjoyed the quiet. It's secluded and peaceful. We went on the canoes that were there and fished in the lake. The owners were friendly, and helpful. We had a question about the hot tub, we called them, we had it figured out in no time. It was a great family vacation.
