The Sea Breeze Cottage sits quietly on the West side of beautiful Campobello, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's 'Beloved Island'. The cottage has been totally remodeled and beautifully decorated. It is filled with charm and warmth and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the peace and tranquility of island living. It sits on 1.5 acres overlooking the Bay of Fundy, Passamaquoddy Bay and Eastport, Maine and is located just 4.4 miles from Roosevelt Campobello International Bridge which connects to Lubec, Maine. A great place to explore nature's best. Bald eagles, whales, porpoises and seals are abundant. 2.9 miles to 2800 acres of natural area at Roosevelt Campobello International Park, 2.9 miles to a mile long sandy beach and a 9 hole golf course that offers panoramic views of the Bay of Fundy at Herring Cove. 1.3 miles to the ferry to Deer Island, NB. It is 2.3 miles to the Campobello Business Center.

The Sea Breeze Cottage is a great place to stay when exploring the Quoddy Loop. It is located just 1.5 miles from the Campobello and Deer Island Car and Passenger Ferry which connects to Eastport, Maine, and provides a great opportunity to 'Island Hop.' While on Deer Island, see the 'Old Sow,' the largest whirlpool in North America. Another ferry connects from Deer Island to 'Mainland Canada,' only 20 minutes from St Andrews, New Brunswick. The cottage is located just 4.4 miles from Roosevelt Campobello International Bridge which connects to Lubec, Maine, 15 minutes from West Quoddy Head State Park, the most easterly point in the USA, 2 hours from Bar Harbor, ME, 2.5 hours from Bangor, ME, and Saint John, NB, 7 hours from Boston, MA.

The hospitality of the owners is unsurpassed. A gift basket awaited us on arrival, and the owner stopped by to greet us. She was very helpful with sightseeing ideas and extremely friendly. We brought the wrong kind of fishing equipment, and she graciously lent us her husband's gear so that we could enjoy fishing. (The fishing is awesome!) Riding the ferry was a fun excursion, as was our whale watching excursion. I have never seen such clear and numerous stars in a night sky before. The extreme tides of the Bay of Fundy are amazing. The house is charming and well equipped for families. Thank you!
